Dr. Saini has been working as Founding Director of TUMAAS, Director, Startup, & outstanding Senior Scientist at IIT Bombay, Mumbai.

Current Research & Social Innovations:

• Covid-19 Diagnostics (Rapid and Molecular), TB Diagnostics, TB Therapeutics (Drug Resistance) & Real time monitoring of child Malnutrition & interventions using nutraceuticals etc. and Vaccine research (adjuvants).
• He has attended various seminar & conferences in USA, Mexico, Singapore, Switzerland, Austria and Netherlands, India. He coordinated various conferences / seminars in India and Singapore.
• He interacted with Hon’ble PM, Shri Modi to show case research during Technical Exhibition, IIT Bombay (11 August, 2018), WHO DD, The Union TB meeting, 2018 (The Hague) & Hon’ble HRD, Minister, IIT Delhi, during Technical Exhibition, IIT Delhi (23 August, 2019).
• He secured Aarohan Social Innovation Award (Gold) from Infosys Foundation (Hon’ble Smt. Sudha Murthy and Shri Nandan Nilekani) (19 Feb, 2020).
• He arranged several health awareness programs in IIT Bombay, colleges, hospitals and rural areas.
  Presented at community connect- Vision 2025 : Control Tuberculosis (50th Union World Conference on Lung Health- Spoorthy Vedica, Oct, 2019)
• He completed a pilot project on screening of child malnutrition with ICDS & CDO, Jhansi UP, India
  He donated Rapid Covid 19 Tests in Nagaland and Meghalaya etc. and Arsenic Album (Covid Prophylactic) in Mumbai
