Bartake-Tobacco Deaddiction Programs

Dr. Bartake is among few full time ‘Tobacco Treatment Specialist’ in India. He is currently working in Awareness department of organization, ‘Indian Cancer Society’. He is also founder president of Rotary club of addiction prevention 3141.

In past he has worked on one international collaboration project headed by Senior Oncologist Dr Sultan Pradhan from Prince Aly Khan Hospital and Dr Nancy Regotti. Dr Nancy is pioneer of Tobacco Cessation Clinic, in MGH Boston in America.  He has counselled more than 5,000 patients. And conducted
more then 500 awareness season. He has conducted tobacco cessation training courses for doctors nurses and health care professionals.

Dr Rohan conducted tobacco de-addiction camp in 16 traffic police stations in Navi Mumbai in collaboration with D Y Patil physiotherapy college.

Dr Rohan has counselled around 250 traffic policemen in 16 traffic police beats.  He was invited to Nagaland by the Governor of Nagaland to conduct camp and spread awareness.

His work has featured in Newspaper MID DAY as First Smoke Nazi in city.

He was also interviewed on TV 9 news channel and channel WIN. For tobacco awareness. He has received the Rotary International Vocational excellence award.
